Radical optimist

I am David Eveleigh-Evans.

Recently I have been managing director and chief creative for Europe at Moving Brands as well as tutor at the Royal College of Art.

Previously, I was leading innovation and design for a health moonshot at Alpha Telefonica's moonshot factory in Barcelona.

Before that, I was Chief Creative Officer at the experience design firm Method, running the business and leading design across London, New York and San Francisco.

This site is a little retrospective, curating work over the last 25 or so years from different studios I have worked with, and at various levels of engagement. Ranging from hands on and do everything, to influencing through inspiring optimism and leading by example. Getting to work with and enable some very talented people along the way.

My background starts off in fine art which is still ongoing, rolling into industrial product design at Newcastle, and interaction design at the RCA. D&AD winning at MetaDesign, digital products and services at Razorfish, running two creative businesses — Miscellaneous and Bird, brand identities and interactive installations at Moving Brands.

Then, experience design at Method as chief creative, a new innovation startup for a management consultancy and as mentioned leading design for an Alpha Moonshot. More recently I have given my time to UNDP digital X as mentor and founded of a boutique design studio focused on life-centred design as well as driving growth and building the next generation of Moving Brands.

I've worked for many global brands and disruptive startups, winning most of the major design awards such as D&AD, ADC, Red Dot, European Design, Cannes Lions, AIGA, Creative review and others.

I also played international rugby for England U20 as hooker against Italy, Argentina, France, Wales and Scotland winning my velvet cap.

I work socially with diverse teams to explore, collaborate and experiment; finding new ways to solve problems and make things happen.
